Big Brown House are committed to supporting safe, stable and nurturing homes, so children and young people who are vulnerable, can reach their full potential.

In 2011, Chris Brown, CEO of Big Brown House, saw a desperate need for children and family support services resulting from the Family Court system, and wider community services needed in Newcastle, NSW.

Since then, Big Brown House has expanded its services across NSW, including the regional areas of Orange and Bathurst, and provides a range of services including:

• Foster Care

• Respite Care

• Family and Carer Supports

• Therapeutic Support Services

• Supported Family Time (Supervised contact, transport and changeover)

• Family Group Conferencing

• Tailored Support Services (Mentoring, education and camp support)

Big Brown House also supports the community through a ‘Support For Sport Program’, which provides assistance to young athletes and their families to help them reach their sporting goals.
